Exercise daily

There is no doubt that exercise, whether walking, going to the gym or anything that gets our heart rate up, makes us feel better, it improves our strength and agility and new research shows that it helps us live longer.

I started this blog with the aim to inspire others, especially older people, to start moving more. Of course how much we do depends on our mobility and injuries, but working with a health professional, like an exercise physiologist, it’s amazing how quickly our bodies respond and get stronger.

Being older should not be an excuse for not doing exercise, I did my first unassisted chin-up at the age of 62 years and very proud of myself. I influenced other women at the gym to give it a try as they never thought it was possible for them to ever achieve a chin-up.
